For beekeepers, I would select Thomas D. Seeley The Lives Of Bees.
It's not a book that teaches beekeeping, but it is a book that collates years of wisdom and research on honey bees live and thrive in the wild, and what beekeepers can learn from that.
For general interest about the bees of North America, you could hardly do better than Wilson & Messinger Carril - The Bees In Your Backyard.
Renowned author and 'bees professor', Dave Goulson shares his adventures on a hunt for the world's most elusive bees from Poland to Patagonia in Bee Quest!
Learn more about insects of Britain and Ireland, with this superb book (which also happens to be good value for money given its size and scope): Britain's Insects - A Field Guide To The Insects Of Great Britain And Ireland by Paul D Brock
